As of today, Adobe's Firefly generative AI video app has entered its public beta phase, allowing general access without a waitlist. Firefly is notable for being dubbed the first commercially safe generative AI video model, with watermarks indicating AI-assisted content, verified through Adobe's Content Authenticity web app.

Previously accessible mainly through Adobe Premiere Pro's Generative Extend feature, Firefly is now also available as a standalone web app. This application facilitates the creation of video clips from text prompts or images and the transformation of images into videos or 3D worlds, marking a significant step forward in video generation technology.

Furthermore, the Firefly web app is integrated with popular Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Users can choose between two pricing plans—Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro—offering different levels of access and functionality, with plans starting at $10 a month, while a premium plan is anticipated soon.
