: Amazon has introduced an AI-powered tool called X-Ray Recaps for Prime Video, which generates personalized summaries of TV content. This feature allows users to receive brief, easy-to-digest snippets that help them resume viewing seamlessly. It is powered by Amazon Bedrock and ensures spoiler-free recaps. Currently in beta, it's available on Fire TV with expansion planned by year-end.

Amazon has unveiled a new AI-driven feature named X-Ray Recaps for its Prime Video platform, aimed at assisting viewers who struggle to recall where they left off in a series. This tool utilizes generative AI to craft personalized summaries of TV seasons and episodes tailored to the viewer's progress with the content.

X-Ray Recaps is designed to provide concise textual snippets that include critical plot points and character developments without revealing any spoilers. The initiative is supported by Amazon's own Bedrock technology, which underpins their AI applications, ensuring viewers can easily re-engage with their favorite shows.

Initially, X-Ray Recaps is being launched in a beta version for Fire TV users, with plans to roll it out to other devices by the year's end. Currently, it is compatible only with Amazon MGM Studios productions such as Upload, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Wheel of Time, and The Boys.
