An all-digital Xbox Series X is coming this holiday season
Microsoft reveals three new Xbox variants, including an all-digital Xbox Series X available this holiday season.
Microsoft has unveiled three new variants in its Xbox console lineup. Prominent among these is an all-digital Xbox Series X without a disc drive, set to release this holiday season. This model comes in a robot white colorway with 1TB of storage and will sell for $450, while the original Series X's price remains $500 but often goes on sale.
In addition to this digital variant, Microsoft will release a special edition Xbox Series X in galaxy black. This special edition includes a disc drive and doubles the internal storage capacity to 2TB. This edition comes with a matching controller and will be priced at $600.
The Xbox Series S will also see an update. Microsoft will offer a 1TB model in its original colorway for $350. The carbon black version released last year will be available only while supplies last, hinting that it is being phased out.
