Antec Core HS handheld gaming PC rocks sliding display and full keyboard, starts at $499
Antec's Core HS gaming PC has a sliding 6-inch display, full keyboard, Ryzen 7 7840U, and starts at $499.
Antec has entered the mobile gaming market with the Core HS, a handheld gaming PC featuring a 6-inch, 1080p display with 368 PPI and a full QWERTY keyboard. The system is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, which has 8 cores and 16 threads, and comes with either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to a 2TB SSD, upgradable to 4TB.
The device includes a sliding display, Hall-sensing joysticks, linear Hall effect triggers, a six-axis gyroscope, and a 12,000mAh battery. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB4 Type-C ports, and an SD card reader for extra storage.
Externally, the Core HS resembles the T-Mobile Sidekick and closely matches the Ayaneo Slide, but Antec’s version is more affordable at $499 for the 16GB variant. This is $200 less than Ayaneo's white model and $300 less than the black version with the same specifications.
