Apple teases new Macs in a 'week of announcements' that starts Monday
Apple announces a week of new Macs and software updates starting Oct 28.
Apple is preparing for a substantial series of announcements beginning Monday, October 28, 2024, which will likely introduce new Mac models. Greg Joswiak, the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Apple, encouraged audiences to 'Mac their calendars,' hinting that the upcoming reveals will include Macs equipped with M4 chipsets.
After introducing the M4 chip in an iPad Pro earlier in the year, Apple is expected to expand its use to iMacs, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and a redesigned Mac mini. This will pave the way for these anticipated releases to happen ahead of the holiday shopping season, following the previous introduction of M3 laptops.
Furthermore, the company plans to implement software updates for iPhones, iPads, and Macs, debuting features under the banner of Apple Intelligence. This series of announcements aims to innovate and keep products refreshed during a key retail period, following the recent release of a new iPad Mini.
