Apple Vision Pro goes on sale in the UK, Canada and Australia
Apple Vision Pro goes on sale in the UK, Canada, France, Germany, and Australia with visionOS 2 updates later this year.
Apple Vision Pro has officially been released for purchase in the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, and Australia, priced at $3,500. The expansion follows its initial launch in the United States in February and pre-orders in Europe, Canada, and Australia after its release in several Asian regions on June 28.
Since its U.S. release, the Vision Pro has seen the addition of numerous games on the App Store and Arcade, as well as new 3D films accessible via an Apple TV+ subscription. Apple's introduction of Spatial Persona avatars allows for more natural virtual collaboration by placing avatars next to you in virtual space, aiming to enhance the immersive working and social experience.
At WWDC this year, Apple presented visionOS 2 for the headset, featuring spatial photos that add depth to 2D images, allowing for a more detailed viewing experience as users move their heads. Additional updates include improved gesture controls, such as opening the home view and accessing time and battery details, with a beta of the updated operating system already in testing and a planned release later this year.
