Apple’s Vision Pro might add support for PlayStation VR controllers
Apple may add PS VR2 controller support to expand Vision Pro's gamer audience.

Apple, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, is seeking to enhance its Vision Pro mixed reality device by potentially adding support for PlayStation VR2 controllers. This change could attract more gamers and encourage game developers to support the Vision Pro with their titles, as the device currently emphasizes eye and hand controls.
Although initially marketed towards productivity and media consumption, the Vision Pro's limited sales, reportedly under half a million units, suggest that appealing to gamers could significantly boost its audience. To facilitate this, Apple is in discussions with Sony to enable compatibility with PlayStation's VR2 hand controllers and to determine developer support for this integration.
The introduction of more precise control could expand the range of applications for Vision Pro beyond gaming, making software like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Photoshop more functional on the device. By integrating gaming hardware, Apple aims to broaden the usability of its mixed reality headset and capture a larger market segment.
