DJI unveils the Dock 3, an innovative 'drone-in-a-box' system designed for mobile deployment, allowing it to launch drones from moving vehicles. The Dock 3 can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C, with a robust IP56 rating for durability across these extreme conditions.

The system supports DJI's Matrice 4D and 4TD drones, which are equipped with IP55 resistance and long-duration flight capabilities of up to 54 minutes. These drones feature specialized cameras and a thermal imager for enhanced mapping, inspection, and emergency response tasks.

Equipped with remote operation capabilities up to 25km with added relays, the Dock 3 enforces security with data encryption and other compliance features. Despite its industrial-grade design and starting price of $21,059, additional expenses are necessary for accessories and installation.
