Dreame is making strides in the smart home market with the introduction of its X50 robot vacuum, which showcases its capability of climbing stairs up to 6cm using the ProLeap System. This system features a motorized arm that swings out from beneath the vacuum to propel it over obstacles such as small steps.

Aside from its stair-climbing prowess, the X50 is equipped with features such as the ability to identify up to 200 objects, which helps navigate around potential obstacles. It also includes a built-in hot water mop and a special brush that collects hair without tangling, enhancing its cleaning efficiency.

The X50 vacuum debuts in the US at CES 2025 and is priced at $1699. Pre-orders started on January 7, with customers receiving a two-year warranty and an extra cleaning kit, while the official sale is set for February 14 on Dreame’s website and Amazon.
