Keyboard manufacturer Machenike achieved its Kickstarter funding goal for the KT84 dual-screen mechanical keyboard in just 14 minutes. The KT84 features an 84-key layout, Gateron North Pole 2.0 switches, hot-swappable keycaps, a 490 dot pixel screen, and a 1.47-inch TFT LCD for displaying useful information.

Additional standout features include a clickable volume knob, a customizable toggle switch, and support for wireless 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired USB Type-C connections. The KT84 is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, and offers 20 RGB backlighting modes with varied battery life depending on the lighting mode.

With more than $48,000 pledged by over 200 backers, the KT84 has significantly surpassed its initial $10,000 goal. The minimum pledge of $199 secures a unit in either transparent white or black, with the first wave of shipments expected to commence in September 2024.
