Ghost of Yotei is the next entry in Sucker Punch’s Ghosts series

Sucker Punch presented Ghost of Yotei, the newest installment in their acclaimed Ghosts series, during Sony’s State of Play. The game introduces Atsu, a female protagonist skilled with a shamisen and a samurai sword, promising a fresh experience within the series' narrative framework.

In the teaser trailer, Atsu is shown traveling the wilds around Mount Yotei with a mysterious wolf. The game emphasizes vast sightlines that showcase its environment, stars and auroras in the sky, wind-blown vegetation, and a mix of familiar and new gameplay mechanics and weapons.

Built for the PS5, Ghost of Yotei will retain the contemplative beauty of its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch plans to release it in 2025, enhancing the visual and gameplay elements that made their previous works successful.
