: The PS5 version of God of War Ragnarok receives a new patch, finally allowing players to reduce the excessive hints from Kratos' son, Atreus. This feature was initially available in the PC version and is now part of Game Version 06.00 for PlayStation 5. The update also improves PS5 Pro compatibility with advanced modes, including 'Favor Quality' at 60 fps and the new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaling. Additionally, the patch offers bug fixes and introduces audio descriptions for cinematic scenes.

God of War Ragnarok for PlayStation 5 now includes an option to decrease excessive puzzle hints from Atreus, Kratos' frequent companion, in the latest patch. This feature was first introduced in the PC version before being added in Game Version 06.00 for PlayStation 5.

In addition to reduced puzzle hints, the patch enhances compatibility for the PS5 Pro. It introduces a 'Favor Quality' mode maintaining 60 fps for smoother gameplay and supports variable refresh rate monitors, leveraging the console's advanced specifications.

Players will also benefit from the new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for upscaling, along with audio descriptions for cinematic scenes, enhancing accessibility. The patch provides bug fixes and addresses issues like Brok's navigation problems in Freyr’s camp and crafting hilt glitches.
