Elon Musk indicated on Twitter that Aurora is an internal tool still in the beta phase, but promised rapid improvements. Despite its temporary removal, the Aurora generator is set to return, reaching all users worldwide within a week.

Concerns arose over Aurora's potential to generate controversial images, like offensive depictions of public figures. However, while the generator displayed such flexibility in prompts, it also maintained certain boundaries, refusing to generate nudity.
