Halliday promises its smart wayfarers have a ‘proactive’ AI assistant inside
Halliday's smart glasses include a proactive AI, translating 40 languages, offering directions, and providing a hidden teleprompter.

Halliday introduced its innovative smart glasses at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, boasting technology aimed at revolutionizing user experience. These glasses contain a waveguide display visible even in strong light, promising to project a 3.5-inch screen equivalent discreetly to the wearer, with a lightweight 35-gram build and an 8-hour battery life.
The standout feature is the 'proactive' AI assistant equipped to anticipate user needs. It allows for immediate meeting summaries and possesses the ability to listen and respond to conversations using built-in microphones. The touch-sensitive sides complement the main mode of interaction: a bundled trackpad ring.
Additional functionalities include translation of 40 languages, real-time direction navigation, and music playback with on-screen lyrics. Despite the promising features, real-world performance is yet to be assessed. Pre-orders are slated for post-CES, with pricing anticipated between $399 and $499, and shipping starts before March 2025.
