: Halliday introduced smart glasses at CES 2025 featuring a $489 price and a preorder discount via Kickstarter. The glasses use a DigiWindow to project a display directly into your line of sight, offering real-time translation for 40 languages and phone notifications. Slimmer and lighter than Ray-Ban Metas, they lack cameras, avoiding privacy concerns. A proactive AI assistant is planned, though not yet functional, and users interact via a control ring.

Halliday, a wearables startup, unveiled its smart glasses at CES 2025, priced at $489 with a preorder available for $369. Using the DigiWindow technology, a small module projects a 3.5-inch display directly into the user's line of sight, offering several features including real-time translation for 40 languages and phone notifications.

These smart glasses are designed to be more affordable and better looking by avoiding the need for expensive AR lenses, and they can accommodate prescription lenses. Without cameras, they focus on privacy and sport a classic design, unlike other existing models in the market like Ray-Ban Metas.

Though a proactive AI assistant feature is planned, it wasn't ready for testing at the launch. The glasses are also complemented by an optional control ring, which allows navigation through various features, providing a unique user interaction experience.
