Haliey Welch, who rose to fame with her viral 'Hawk Tuah' video, has expanded her career by launching Pookie Tools, an AI-based dating advice application. The app, targeted at Gen Z singles, provides various features such as conversation starters, outfit suggestions, zodiac compatibility, and dating profile enhancement tips.

The app appears amidst concerns about the current online dating culture, plagued by issues like ghosting and scams. While Pookie Tools offers innovations, its AI-generated responses are viewed as similar to existing AI tools like ChatGPT, and there are concerns that features such as 'Bald Predictor' and 'Height Detector' could be mean-spirited.

Built in collaboration with Ben Ganz of Ultimate AI Studio, Welch aims to add more features in partnership with podcast guests. Available on a subscription model, Pookie Tools is priced at $7 per week or $50 annually, offering a three-day free trial to attract more users.
