The phone includes a 6.94-inch internal screen, HarmonyOS AI, and a 50MP rear camera. Priced at RMB 5,288 ($740), the launch aims to boost Huawei's leading position in the rapidly growing foldable phone market.

Huawei introduced its first foldable phone in the Nova series, the Nova Flip, targeting young consumers through a launch event in partnership with Bilibili. This event, named Super Science Night: New Scene, featured performances by celebrities such as Jackson Yee, Lexie Liu, and Fei Qinyuan, blending technology and pop culture.

The Nova Flip comes with a 6.94-inch 120Hz LTPO internal screen, 2.14-inch 60Hz OLED cover screen, HarmonyOS AI, and a 50MP rear camera with hover-selfie capability. The phone is powered by Geekbench-suggested HiSilicon Kirin 8000 chip, features a 4400mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging, and is priced starting from RMB 5,288 ($740).

Available in various colors like light green, pink, white, and black, the Nova Flip also offers a mini handbag accessory priced at RMB 499 ($70). According to IDC's quarterly tracking report, Huawei leads the domestic foldable market with a 44.1% share as the market saw an 83% year-on-year increase in shipments.
