I want Urtopia’s Titanium Zero concept e-bike
Urtopia's Titanium Zero e-bike, with its Quark DM1.2 motor, was revealed at CES 2025, promising a lightweight alternative to heavy e-bikes.
At CES 2025, Urtopia showcased the Titanium Zero, a concept e-bike made from 3D-printed titanium. This innovative bike weighs less than 20 pounds and appears as a traditional steel-framed bike, blending performance with a classic design.
What sets the Titanium Zero apart is its Quark DM1.2 mid-drive motor, compactly designed to fit in the bottom bracket, producing 65nm of torque. Although it's not as powerful as heavy-duty motors like the 130Nm Bafang M560, it offers a noticeable performance boost compared to standard rear hub motors with around 40nm.
Despite its appeal, the Titanium Zero remains a concept, indicating Urtopia's forward-thinking approach in e-bike development. The bike's potential was highlighted at CES 2025, yet it awaits further testing and development before becoming accessible to consumers.
