: Lenovo introduces its Legion Go 2 and Go S handheld gaming PCs, with a SteamOS model among them. The Legion Go 2 features an 8.8-inch OLED display and up to 32GB RAM. The Legion Go S debuts this month, with various configurations and designs for enhanced portability. Valve's operating system powers one variant, marking a first for third-party handheld gaming devices.

Lenovo has announced the Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC, which is still in prototype form, featuring an 8.8-inch OLED display with VRR support and the option of AMD Ryzen Z2 or Z2 Extreme CPUs. It is also configurable with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage, although there are no details on its release date or pricing.

On the other hand, the Legion Go S offers a more compact design with an 8-inch IPS LCD multi-touch screen and a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It is powered by either an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go or Z1 Extreme processor, comes with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD, and weighs around 730g, slightly heavier than the Steam Deck.

Lenovo is releasing the first Legion Go S this month, priced at £649.99/$729.99 with maximum specs. A cheaper SteamOS variant costing $499.99 will launch in May, marking it as the first non-Valve handheld gaming device to use SteamOS.
