: Logitech has introduced the MX Ink, a $130 3D stylus for Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets, set for a September release. The device is designed for precise designs and illustrations in mixed reality, supporting several apps and includes features like pressure-sensitive tips. It also switches easily with Quest controllers and runs up to seven hours on a single charge.

Logitech has revealed its MX Ink stylus designed for Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets, priced at $130 and available starting in September 2024. This mixed reality stylus aims to help users create precise designs and illustrations directly within the Meta Quest ecosystem. However, it is noteworthy that the MX Ink is not compatible with the Quest Pro headset despite Meta's extensive product lineup.

The MX Ink features include two spare tips with fine and wide options, and you can adjust various settings like pressure curves and double-tap timing through the Meta Quest App. The stylus offers high-precision creativity aided by a pressure-sensitive tip and main button, while its six-degrees-of-freedom spatial tracking enhances the user experience. Additionally, it comes with a USB-C charging option and an available dock for easy recharging.

Users can easily switch between the MX Ink and Quest controllers, making it a versatile tool in both 2D and 3D spaces. The stylus is supported by several apps out of the box, such as Gravity Sketch, PaintingVR, Arkio, and more. Interestingly, Meta's timing has outpaced Apple's similar offering, as the latter has yet to release a mixed reality stylus compatible with its Vision Pro headset despite having tested a new Apple Pencil.
