Bethesda has broken its silence about The Elder Scrolls 6 by partnering with Make-A-Wish to auction a chance for one fan to become an NPC in the game. The bidding is hosted by OneCause, and at this moment stands at $35,750, with all proceeds benefiting the charitable organization dedicated to helping critically and terminally ill children.

The specifics of what the winning bidder receives are unclear. Other than an NPC featuring the winner's likeness, Bethesda has not disclosed whether there will be mo-cap sessions or if the winner will have any input on the character's personality.

Shirley Curry, known as 'Skyrim Grandma' with a YouTube following of over one million, is already promised a place in TES6. Bethesda agreed to include her in the game after Curry's supporters petitioned in the wake of her stroke in 2022.
