: The Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration introduces a limited-time mode inspired by Splatoon, featuring Jeff the Land Shark. Players can participate in Jeff's Winter Splash Festival from December 20th, covering arenas in colored snow. The event offers new costumes and a Gallery Card customization with the chance to earn exclusive items. The creative director confirmed plans for cross-progression across multiple platforms.

Marvel Rivals announces its Winter Celebration featuring a unique game mode inspired by Splatoon, titled Jeff's Winter Splash Festival. Players form teams to control land sharks and compete in coloring the arena with snow, available from December 20th.

This celebration introduces exciting new costumes, including an icy Venom, Christmas-themed Groot, and Santa Rocket. Additionally, the Gallery Card customization event offers tasks that reward players with timed items, such as a special Jeff the Land Shark costume.

Guangyun 'Guangguang' Chen confirmed plans for cross-progression, allowing progress across platforms, although limited to each platform currently. Despite challenges, cross-play between PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S is already a feature, and the game had a strong opening weekend with 10 million players.
