Microsoft’s top AI customers include Adobe and Meta

Microsoft's AI services see major clients like Adobe, Meta spend $1M+ as TikTok's influence declines.

: Microsoft's Azure OpenAI customer base has diversified, with enterprises like Adobe and Meta spending over $1 million monthly on AI services. TikTok, while previously a significant patron, now accounts for less than 15% of Azure OpenAI revenue. The change is attributed to increased spending from other clients and ByteDance reducing its outlay.

Microsoft has broadened its Azure OpenAI clientele, with Adobe and Meta each spending more than $1 million monthly for dedicated access to OpenAI's models. This diversification marks a shift from earlier in the year when TikTok was the principal consumer, responsible for nearly a quarter of the AI revenue.

Though TikTok remains Microsoft’s top spender on Azure OpenAI, its financial commitment has decreased. ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, now accounts for less than 15% of the revenue, highlighting the growing influx of other businesses contributing to Microsoft's AI service income.

The reduced dependency on TikTok stems from Microsoft's expanded customer base, reflecting broader enterprise interest in AI capabilities. By attracting top-tier clients like Adobe and Meta, Microsoft solidifies its position in the competitive AI landscape.
