Mobile Radeon RX 7800M debuts in external GPU unit, clears 60fps in Wukong
One-Netbook's OneXGPU 2 debuts with AMD's RX 7800M, achieving over 60fps in various games at high settings.
One-Netbook has introduced the OneXGPU 2, the first known product to feature AMD's Radeon RX 7800M mobile GPU. This new GPU almost doubles the compute units from 32 to 60 and boosts GDDR6 video memory from 8 GB to 12 GB, providing high-end gaming performance for connected handheld PCs, low-end laptops, and mini PCs.
Internal benchmarks show the RX 7800M comfortably achieving over 60fps in games like Black Myth: Wukong at 3,440 x 1,440 resolution using high settings. Similarly, it maintains over 60fps in God of War (2018) at 2,560 x 1,600 and Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1,920 x 1,200 with maximum graphics settings, although external reviews are still needed for validation.
The OneXGPU 2 offers extensive connectivity including USB 4.0, Oculink, HDMI 2.1, M.2, and two DisplayPort 2.0 outputs, supporting up to three additional screens. While launch and pricing details are yet to be disclosed, a 30-percent-off early-bird deal has been confirmed, making this an attractive option for tech enthusiasts.
