Monster Hunter Wilds beta set to get additional day following global PSN outage

Capcom extends Monster Hunter beta due to PSN outage.

: Capcom announced plans to extend the Monster Hunter Wilds beta for PS5 players due to a global PSN outage. The current beta began on February 7 and will end on February 16. Capcom will provide an additional 24 hours for testing at an unspecified future date. The game is slated for release on February 28 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Capcom plans to extend the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta testing period for PlayStation 5 users after a global PSN outage interrupted the scheduled playtime. Delays have impacted both player participation and necessary systems testing, leading to this additional beta day.

The first beta test began on February 7 at 3am UK time and is set to close at the same hour the following day. The second test runs from February 13 to 16, allowing cross-platform multiplayer and the transfer of characters, although progress won't be saved beyond the beta.

Participants will receive an item pass and a bonus pendant once the full game becomes available on February 28. Monster Hunter World and Iceborne players will also benefit from exclusive bonuses if they upgrade to Wilds. Capcom has yet to announce when the additional beta testing day will occur.
