During Netflix's Geeked Week event, Monument Valley 3 was previewed with significant gameplay additions, notably sailing. Game director Jennifer Estaris mentioned that these changes allow movement in almost any direction, creating more dynamic puzzles and surreal architectural visuals inspired by MC Escher.

The new protagonist, Noor, a lighthouse keeper's apprentice, embarks on a mission to find a power source before the world's light fades. The story leans on themes of hope, togetherness, and resilience, and is accompanied by a soundtrack from an 18-piece orchestra to enhance the emotional narrative.

Monument Valley 3 will be accessible to Netflix subscribers on iOS and Android as of December 10. Other gaming news included Netflix's multiplayer Battleship, arriving Sept 24, and future releases like Civilization IV and Street Fighter IV CE with cross-play, expanding Netflix's gaming offerings without additional costs to subscribers.
