Nintendo will sell cheaper Switch Mario Kart bundles in October
Nintendo to offer cheaper Switch bundles with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Switch Online membership in October.
Nintendo has announced new Switch bundles, ready for the holiday season in October. The bundles include a Switch console, a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a 12-month Switch Online Individual membership. The basic model with red and blue Joy-Cons will cost $300, which is a $60 reduction from their previous bundle that included only a three-month subscription.
An OLED model bundle, offering enhanced screen size and battery life, will be priced at $350, $10 less than the current OLED package. These bundles will be available through the My Nintendo Store and select retailers until supplies last. Nintendo's upcoming next-gen Switch is speculated to have improved features but won't be out until 2025.
Meanwhile, the gaming community anticipates the next-gen Switch to support both digital and physical games with a possible 8GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It might feature NVIDIA's DLSS upscaling technology and an 8-inch LCD or 7-inch, 120Hz display. This next-gen console is speculated to launch in 2025, thus not making it to this year's holiday gift list.
