NVIDIA announced that GeForce Now will have a monthly playtime cap of 100 hours for new subscribers beginning January 1, 2025. Current subscribers, who joined before December 31, 2024, will not face this cap until 2026.

With the introduction of the playtime limits, NVIDIA aims to prevent price increases, claiming that 94% of its users typically play less than this amount. Subscribers can roll over up to 15 unused hours to the next month and purchase extra hours if needed. Performance members will pay $3 for 15 additional hours, while Ultimate members pay $6.

The GeForce Now Priority tier is now called Performance tier, offering upgraded 1440p streaming and support for ultrawide resolutions. Current Priority customers will automatically transition to the Performance tier, retaining their $10 monthly fee. A 25% discount is available for Performance and Ultimate day passes.
