NVIDIA's ACE virtual human tech is making its way into an actual game
NVIDIA's ACE tech features in Amazing Seasun Games' Mecha BREAK showcased at Gamescom. PC Game Pass on GeForce NOW gets seamless integration from August 22.
Amazing Seasun Games will demonstrate NVIDIA's Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) technology through its upcoming multiplayer mecha game, Mecha BREAK, at Gamescom. NVIDIA showcased ACE at Computer 2023, emphasizing how it allows more interactive player-NPC interactions without pre-programmed dialogues. An example showed an NPC named Jin responding naturally to questions about city crime rates.
NVIDIA aims to enhance Mecha BREAK's gameplay experience using ACE on GeForce RTX AI PCs. Additionally, other developers like Perfect World Games are also incorporating ACE into their titles. For instance, in Perfect World’s demo of Legends, NPCs identify real-world objects and people through the computer’s camera, powered by ChatGPT-4o.
In a broader update, NVIDIA has announced a more seamless experience for PC Game Pass users on GeForce NOW starting August 22. Players will need to link their Xbox profile just once for future streaming of Game Pass titles, simplifying the process considerably.
