Researchers achieve first successful communication between dreaming individuals

First successful communication between dreaming individuals using Remmyo language by REMspace startup.

: Researchers at REMspace achieved communication between dreaming individuals using a dream language called Remmyo. Specialized sensors and earbuds facilitated this process as participants entered lucid dreams. CEO Michael Raduga envisions commercial applications but acknowledges potential misuse. The company aims for real-time dream communication soon.

Researchers at the California-based sleep startup REMspace demonstrated successful communication between individuals during dreams. Using sensors and earbuds, participants in the experiment entered lucid dreams, enabling them to exchange messages through a special dream language called Remmyo.

The REMspace technology involves sending a randomly generated Remmyo word to a dreamer, who then repeats the word. Another participant in a lucid dream later received and confirmed the message, marking the first-ever dream communication exchange.

CEO Michael Raduga sees enormous commercial potential but notes the risks of misuse, as dreams could be commercialized. With real-time dream communication on the horizon, REMspace plans to reach this milestone within a few months.
