Roborock's new flagship robot vacuum has an arm that can grab small objects

Roborock debuts the Saros Z70 vacuum with a robotic arm to pick up small items, showcased at CES 2025.

: Roborock revealed the Saros Z70 at CES 2025, a robot vacuum equipped with a five-axis robotic arm known as OmniGrip. This arm allows it to pick up small objects like socks and toys under 300 grams, using AI and precision sensors. Users can control the arm through the Roborock app, designating which items it should move. The Saros Z70 plans to be available for purchase within the year, alongside other new cleaning gadgets.

Roborock, a Chinese company specializing in household cleaning appliances, introduced the Saros Z70 with a novel feature at CES 2025. This flagship robot vacuum comes equipped with a foldable robotic arm, OmniGrip, capable of picking up light objects such as socks and small toys weighing less than 300 grams.

Featuring AI-powered technology, the Saros Z70 marks items it can lift and circles back post-cleaning to remove them and tidy the underlying areas. Users employ the Roborock app to activate the arm and specify which objects to manage, making tidying up more convenient.

Besides the Saros Z70, Roborock announced additional cleaning devices, including two other robot vacuums, handheld wet-dry cleaners, and all-in-one washer-dryers. These products were showcased at CES and highlight Roborock's continued innovation in the realm of automated home cleaning.
