Their future aim is facilitating companies in crafting their own reliable agents through effective prompting.

Rounded is a French startup focused on creating an AI orchestration platform that empowers companies to develop custom AI voice agents. Initially, the company aimed to place ChatGPT between a transcriber and a synthesizer, but it shifted gears due to market readiness issues and introduced an AI agent named Donna for anesthetists.

The use of Donna addressed the high influx of non-sales driven, transactional calls handled by anesthesia secretaries in French hospitals. Having already managed hundreds of thousands of conversations with improved latency, Rounded's product found acceptance among 15 private hospitals, enhancing the agent's accuracy and integration capabilities over time.

Rounded is now expanding its offerings with an orchestration product allowing companies to select various AI models for their voice agents. The platform supports building instruction trees and customized prompts, enabling businesses to develop optimal prompting systems for reliable AI agents, buoyed by €600,000 in funding from UC Berkeley’s SkyDeck and other investors.
