Sigma's latest camera is so minimalist it doesn't have a memory card slot
Sigma BF camera debuts with built-in SSD, minimalist design.

Sigma has launched the BF, a groundbreaking 24.6-megapixel full-frame, mirrorless camera, incorporating a 230GB SSD instead of traditional memory slots. Its minimalist design is milled from a single aluminum block, with an ergonomic focus on flat, angular edges and essentials like a high-resolution display and several functional buttons.
The BF camera supports L-mount lenses and is capable of capturing 6K video, utilizing advanced features such as HEVC encoding and recording at 120 frames per second. Adjustable color modes, including options like standard, rich, and specific hues like powder blue and sunset red, cater to diverse photographic preferences.
With the ability to store over 14,000 JPEG files or 2.5 hours of high-quality video, the BF is a potent tool for photographers valuing design and functionality. Expected to retail at a price of $1,999, it will be offered body-only in black or silver, making its market debut in April 2025.
