Soulframe will "open up to a lot more players this autumn", says Digital Extremes
Digital Extremes will expand access to Soulframe in autumn, with new gameplay showcased at TennoCon 2024.
Digital Extremes plans to open up its fantasy action-MMORPG, Soulframe, to a larger player base this autumn. This announcement came during the TennoCon 2024 fan convention, where 17 minutes of new gameplay were showcased, providing a closer look at the game's development.
The development team discussed the impact of Soulframe Preludes on the game's design and how community feedback has been integrated. The showcased gameplay revealed how physical attributes chosen for a mother impact a character's appearance and included hand-to-hand combat sequences.
Although there's still no official release date, creative director Geoff Crookes expressed hopes to open the game to more players by this autumn. Soulframe will be Digital Extremes' first new release in over five years, following the 2017 team-based FPS The Amazing Eternals.
