Ubisoft is set to release the Beyond Good and Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition remaster on June 25. This follows a false start where the announcement video was initially posted in a tweet that was later deleted, but the recent announcement appears to be definitive.

The remaster introduces updated art assets, running at up to 4K and 60 FPS, and features a re-orchestrated soundtrack. There is also a promise of "exclusive new content," although details on this new content remain unclear at this stage.

In addition to the digital release, Limited Run Games will start selling physical copies of the remaster for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch on July 12. Notably, there is still no new information about the highly anticipated sequel to the original Beyond Good and Evil, which has been teased by Ubisoft for over a decade.
