The Port of Seattle, which operates the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, reported a 'possible cyberattack' affecting its websites and phone systems. Travelers were advised to use airline apps for boarding passes and bag tags and to allow additional time at the airport.

As of Sunday morning, public-facing web infrastructure for the Port of Seattle remained largely offline, according to a TechCrunch review of its DNS records. Despite the disruptions, a TSA spokesperson confirmed that there was no impact on security operations at the airport.

It also comes in the wake of an executive order by the Biden Administration aimed at improving cybersecurity in ports, highlighting the ongoing vulnerability of crucial infrastructure to cyber threats.
