The promotion only applies to the digital edition, excluding the model with an integrated disc drive. However, purchasing a separate PS5 disc drive for $79.99 allows consumers to assemble a disc version and save around $40 compared to buying the disc version outright.

Sony's refurbished consoles offer additional savings, with digital models at $349.99 and those with disc drives at $399.99. Meanwhile, the more expensive PS5 Pro is priced at $699.99 but does not include a disc drive.
