The world's first personal 3D texturing UV printer applies designs to almost any surface

EufyMake introduces the first 3D texturing UV printer on Kickstarter.

: Anker’s eufyMake has unveiled the UV Printer E1, the world’s first personal 3D texturing UV printer, capable of printing detailed designs on nearly any surface including glass, wood, metal, and ceramics. Unlike traditional industrial UV printers, this compact Direct-to-Film (DTF) model targets individual users and small businesses, supporting 3D textures and AI-powered editing tools. Starting at $1,499, the printer launches on Kickstarter this month with shipments beginning in July to several regions worldwide. It also features auto-leveling, rotary printing, and durable prints that withstand sunlight and washing.

In an ambitious move, EufyMake, a brand under Anker, has unveiled the UV Printer E1, which signifies the world's first personal 3D texturing UV printer. Traditionally reserved for large, industrial setups, UV printers can now find a place in more individual-centered environments. These printers utilize ultraviolet light to cure and set ink, making it possible to print on diverse surfaces like wood, metal, acrylic, and ceramics. The UV Printer E1 notably supports Direct-to-Film (DTF) technology, where the process involves a peel-off film, allowing users to easily transfer designs onto many surfaces, circumventing the conventional heat pressing. Additionally, this 1440 DPI machine is noted for reducing the form factor by about 90%, making it suitable for smaller applications.

Daniel Sims highlights the printer's remarkable feature set, which includes an auto-leveler facilitating rotary printing, especially on cylindrical objects like mugs. This feature, combined with lasers for precise height and contour measurements, aids in achieving detailed 3D texturing, thereby opening opportunities for creating customized decals, signage, and sports gear decorations. Besides, the prints have shown resilience to outdoor elements such as sunlight and weather, as well as being wash-proof for several months, enhancing their utility across various applications.

Early adopters can take advantage of the early-bird pricing structure starting at $1,499 with a modest deposit of $50, valid until April 28. Once the Kickstarter campaign initiates between April 29 and June 8, the standard bundles are offered starting from $1,899, which includes a special limited-time discount of $200. These bundles comprise essential items such as ink cartridges, a cleaning cartridge, a rotary attachment, and a DTF laminating machine — showcasing a comprehensive offer for those interested.

The UV Printer E1 is synchronized with eufyMake Studio software, offering users enhanced creativity tools such as AI-based image editing tools capable of generating images and altering art styles. This facility also provides the option to handcraft 2D and 3D textures, furnishing users with the flexibility to adapt designs as per their needs. Furthermore, the inbuilt jet cleaning system, which utilizes cleaning fluid, significantly cuts down maintenance, ensuring long-term productivity and reduced operational downtime.

Daniel Sims mentions that shipping is anticipated to commence in July, targeting regions such as the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. This development underscores the increasing push to democratize advanced printing technologies, making them accessible to not just small businesses but also individual enthusiasts aiming to delve into creative endeavors without incurring prohibitive costs.
