Ubisoft CEO confirms multiple Assassin's Creed games are getting remakes

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirms remakes of multiple Assassin's Creed games, with a focus on diversity in upcoming releases including Hexe and Shadows.

: Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, confirmed that multiple Assassin's Creed games are getting remakes. He hinted at a revisit of older games and assured variety in future releases. Notable upcoming titles include Assassin's Creed Hexe and Shadows, with launch dates set for 2026 and 15th November 2024, respectively.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has disclosed that several Assassin's Creed games are being remade. While he did not specify which games, this follows rumors from last year about a remake of Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which is allegedly being worked on by Ubisoft Singapore and still in early development stages.

In the same interview, Guillemot discussed the future of the Assassin's Creed series, emphasizing a variety of experiences rather than repeating the same formula every year. Titles like Assassin's Creed Mirage and Shadows will reflect this new approach, with Shadows set for release on 15th November 2024.

Additionally, Guillemot mentioned the development of Assassin's Creed Hexe, targeting a 2026 release. The game, set in 16th century Europe, is part of several new series entries, including the mobile-focused Assassin's Creed Jade expected in 2025.
