: The Xbox Developer Direct 2025 showcased a lineup of exciting gaming releases from Microsoft. Highlights include Ninja Gaiden 4 by Platinum Games and Team Ninja, featuring a new protagonist Yakumo and a revamped Ninja Gaiden 2 Black using Unreal Engine 5. South of Midnight arrives on 8th April, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on 24th April, and Doom: The Dark Ages, showcasing ambitious gameplay, releases on 15th May.

During Xbox Developer Direct 2025, Microsoft revealed its latest gaming milestones for the year. Featured announcements included the unveiling of Ninja Gaiden 4 by Platinum Games and Team Ninja, which introduces a new Master Ninja, Yakumo, set in a futuristic Tokyo, and a revamp of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black using Unreal Engine 5, with immediate availability.

The event also confirmed the release of South of Midnight by Compulsion Games, a third-person action game set in a folklorish Deep South with mythical creatures, arriving on 8th April. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG set in a fantasy 19th-century France by Sandfall Interactive, promises novel gameplay mechanics and is slated for release on 24th April.

Doom: The Dark Ages from id Software returns to the spotlight as a prequel to Doom 2016, enriched with extensive gameplay innovations, medieval themes, and unique weaponry. It captivated audiences with its overhauled combat scenes and cinematic experiences, culminating in a release date set for 15th May.
