Xenoblade Chronicles X appears on Microsoft's PC game page
Xenoblade Chronicles X mistakenly listed on Microsoft's PC page sparks curiosity.

On May 31, 2025, Xenoblade Chronicles X, a Nintendo-exclusive title developed by Monolith Soft, appeared on Microsoft's official support page for “Enhanced games for Microsoft Edge Game Assist.” This tool offers browser-based tips and overlays for certain PC games. The inclusion of a game never released on PC, and one tightly linked to Nintendo, sparked immediate confusion and speculation across the gaming community.
The listing initially referred to the game as Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, referencing the remastered version released for Nintendo Switch in early 2025. However, the name was later shortened to just Xenoblade Chronicles X, further clouding the situation. No download or purchase links were provided—only a listing among other supported PC games like Diablo IV and Fallout 4.
Given the game’s exclusivity to Nintendo platforms and lack of any official PC port, most observers believe the listing is an error. Some speculate it could be the result of automated systems or human oversight during the content population of the support site. Neither Microsoft nor Nintendo has released an official statement to clarify.
This isn’t the first time unusual or seemingly impossible listings have appeared on Microsoft platforms. Past instances have typically been dismissed as glitches or placeholder content. Still, the idea of a major Nintendo RPG crossing to PC platforms—even indirectly—naturally stirred curiosity.
As of now, the listing remains live on Microsoft’s site. Until confirmed otherwise, it’s safest to treat this as a mistake rather than a sign of future collaboration between Microsoft and Nintendo.
