Capcom's eagerly awaited Monster Hunter Wilds offers fans a sneak peek with an open beta starting on October 31, ahead of its February 28 release. PlayStation Plus subscribers get early access to this preview from 11 PM ET on October 28 for a 48-hour period.

During the beta, players can create their characters and a Palico companion, and transfer this data to the final release for additional bonuses like a virtual pendant. The beta includes two story trial hunts: one teaches the gameplay basics, while the other allows players to explore on a Seikret animal mount.

The trial supports both online multiplayer and enticingly features cross-play, letting participants take on these challenges together or with AI-controlled support hunters. This limited-time beta will end on November 3 at 9:59 PM and is accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
