Zotac confirms 32GB RTX 5090 is on the way, 16GB RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti could follow
Zotac leaks RTX 5000 details, revealing 32GB RTX 5090 and more with GDDR7 VRAM.
Zotac accidentally disclosed information about five impending Nvidia RTX 5000 series GPUs, a leak that aligns with recent trends of premature revelations in tech. The confirmed continuation of RTX branding is highlighted by the flagship RTX 5090, rumored to feature 32GB of VRAM, while the 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti might follow with 16GB each, drawing parallels to their RTX 4000 predecessors.
As the inaugural introduction of GDDR7 VRAM approaches with the Blackwell codenamed GPUs, this series aims to address the increasing demands of high-end gaming, especially in 4K and heavy graphics scenarios. Other versions, however, might remain constrained with 8GB on the RTX 5060 and 12GB for 5070, limiting their scope in more demanding games.
Meanwhile, the RTX 5000 might face formidable competition from Intel and AMD's upcoming offerings like the Arc B580 and RDNA4 lineups. Such competition might compel Nvidia to emphasize memory speed improvements, and all will likely be unveiled during Nvidia's anticipated CES keynote on January 6, where AMD might also present its advancements.
